Experienced Real Estate Closer

Osteen Law Group is seeking an experienced Real Estate Closer / Real Estate Legal Assistant to join our real estate department.

Prior real estate closing experience is REQUIRED for this position. We are specifically seeking a candidate who has hands-on experience handling residential real estate closings and understands the closing process from contract through funding, recording, and post-closing.

Job Responsibilities

The Real Estate Closer will assist our real estate department with efficiently preparing for and completing real estate transactions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing real estate files throughout the closing process
  • Preparing and drafting documents necessary for closings
  • Scheduling and coordinating closings
  • Communicating with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, attorneys, and other parties involved in transactions
  • Reviewing and balancing Closing Disclosures (CDs) with lenders
  • Obtaining necessary information and documentation prior to closing
  • Ensuring closing files are accurate and complete
  • Preparing files for attorney review and closing
  • Assisting with funding
  • Maintaining organized and accurate electronic and physical files
  • Handling multiple transactions and deadlines simultaneously

Required Qualifications

Applicants MUST have prior real estate closing experience.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have previous experience as a Real Estate Closer, Real Estate Legal Assistant, Closing Coordinator, or similar position
  • Have working knowledge of the residential real estate closing process
  • Have experience reviewing and balancing Closing Disclosures
  • Be comfortable communicating directly with lenders, real estate agents, clients, and other professionals
  • Have excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Be a strong multitasker and able to manage a high-volume workload
  • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail
  • Be dependable, professional, and hardworking
  • Maintain a positive attitude and work well as part of a team
  • Be able to work efficiently in a deadline-driven environment

Compensation

Pay is based on experience. Competitive compensation will be offered to candidates based on their level of real estate closing knowledge and prior experience.
